Hachette
"The estate is on a roll, as witnessed by this 2012, which transports us into an intense, captivating aromatic universe: ripe raspberry and blackcurrant, eucalyptus. Supple on the attack, the palate rises in power on a framework of vanilla and sweet tannins with coconut accents, while remaining marked by the freshness of altitude: a perfect balance. Aged leather, blond tobacco and spices contribute to a rare complexity; the persistence adds to the immediate charm of this bottle while constituting its "capital time"" (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2016).

About the wine:
The estate is on a roll (see also AOC Minervois), as witnessed by this 2012, which transports us into an intense, captivating aromatic universe: ripe raspberry and blackcurrant, eucalyptus. Supple on the attack, the palate rises in power on a framework of vanilla and sweet tannins with coconut accents, while remaining marked by the freshness of altitude: a perfect balance. Aged leather, blond tobacco and spices add up to a rare complexity; the persistence adds to the immediate charm of this bottle, while constituting its "time capital".

Rated 3 stars + coup de coeur by Hachette. Now I understand why, it has everything going for it. Fresh and concentrated, perfectly balanced: quite simply, this is a great wine. As is often the case, the Hachette guide stands out for its ability to distinguish little-known wines that have all the hallmarks of the greats.
