Vignoble du Loup Blanc
The Vignoble du Loup Blanc is located in the hamlet of La Roueyre, near Bize-Minervois. It's the domain of Alain Rochard, Nicolas Gaignon, Carine and Laurent Farre, who have been partners since acquiring the estate in 2002.

The Loup Blanc vineyard comprises 18 hectares of small plots located in Bize, in the part of the Minervois known as "Les Causses", a terroir in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, at the northeast end of the appellation. A wide variety of Languedoc grape varieties take root in limestone and red clay soils. The altitude and cool nights enable the grapes to ripen slowly. The Vignoble du Loup Blanc is cultivated using certified organic methods, extended by biodynamic practices. Vinification is carried out as naturally as possible.

Vignoble du Loup Blanc wines are made with a healthy, rich approach, aiming to preserve freshness and a pure expression of terroir, combining complexity, minerality and balance.

"A blend of Terret, Grenache and Carignan, its citrus and herbal infusion aromas are irresistible. Straightforward and dry on the palate. A fine southern white. (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2020 - RVF) This wine brings together two 50-year-old plots dominated by the Terret Blanc grape variety. A very gourmand white, revealing fennel and lemon aromas on the nose, with a tangy attack on the palate, silky softness and a long, full, salivating finish. The archetypal white pleasure!

With its surprising composition of four Hispanic grape varieties, this cuvée is dominated by aromas of red and black berries, reminiscent of blueberry and blackberry. The supple attack heralds a full-bodied palate, with very silky tannins. Roundness and volume are complemented by a powerful finish with well-balanced mentholated nuances. A red to discover!
