Robert Parker

"A notch above, Larmanela 2012 presents itself on the reduction then opens up nicely with time. Rich and full-bodied, with lots of black fruit, meaty notes, chocolate, rock chips and truffles, it's a wine with supple, round tannins. It's a seductive wine." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker)

Domaine rated (guide 2016) Awarded wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)

About the wine:

a beautifully crafted cuvée. Just wait a little, until the pepper and licorice, already perceptible, overtake the ageing notes.

About the domain :

Guilhem Viau, after ten years with a cooperative winery, launched his own business in 2008, naming his estate after the locality where his ancestor Jeanne's pastures and sheepfold were located. Today, he manages a 15-hectare vineyard.
