Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Pierre Halley and Samuel Durand created this domaine in 2017, in the Larzac foothills, 20 kilometers from Montpellier, realizing their childhood dream. Rosés, whites and reds make up the range from the 15 hectares scattered in small plots managed in an organic spirit. Remarkable drinkability of the reds, mastery of tannins, accessible style, delicate and tasty. To be followed closely.

Domaine noté (guide 2020) Cité (Vin réussi)
About the domain :
Pierre Halley, who gradually took over the vineyards from his cooperative uncle, and Samuel Durand, a former sommelier, created a winery in the heart of the garrigue, in Argelliers, in 2017. The clos comprises 15 ha of vines, in organic conversion, divided into small plots on two lieux-dits, Font-Belette and Champs de Traversiers, at an altitude of over 200 m.

Rated domain (2022 guide) City
About the domain :
In Argelliers, a stone's throw from Puéchabon, the finest assets of the Languedoc hinterland are embodied in this young domaine, hidden away in the garrigue: a secluded little corner of paradise, planted with vines amidst oak trees, where Samuel and Pierre have designed a way of life around the wine they bottle.
