Bettane & Desseauve
Blanc Ivoire is a delicate wine, offering white fruit and lemon aromas. Slightly spicy freshness adds complexity to this taut cuvée. The balance between bitters and acidity is well mastered. A most enjoyable bottle!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated (2018 guide) 15.5/20 (Vintage 2016) (Very good wine)
Domaine rated (2019 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux-du-Layon and Chaume find here a fine and sincere expression. A sure bet.

Rated wine (2019 guide) 14/20 (Vintage 2016) (Good wine)
Domaine noté (guide 2019) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
Roger-François Béguinot, who made his fortune in baby food, and his wife fell in love with Château Soucherie in 2007. This 28-hectare estate is ideally situated on a south-facing schist slope between Beaulieu and Rochefort, in the Anjou, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon and Chaume appellations.

Knowing this wine well, I was disappointed to find it corked, even if this is tolerable, even though it's a millesime neuf! What a pity, because I know it's normally excellent!
