Château Soucherie is located on a schist hillside on the border between Beaulieu-sur-Layon and Rochefort-sur-Loire. The Château Soucherie vineyard covers 36 hectares in the Anjou, Coteaux du Layon Chaume, and Savennières appellations.
The Château Soucherie estate, currently undergoing natural conversion, is managed using sustainable agriculture practices to ensure respect for the vines, grapes, heritage, and diversity of the terroirs. All work in the Château Soucherie vineyard is carried out manually: from leaf removal and debudding to trellising and harvesting. The AOC Chaume and AOC Coteau-du-Layon sweet wines, the treasures of Château Soucherie, are made from 100% botrytized grapes.
