Aged on lees for a year, "Les Houx" boasts remarkable aromatic intensity. Notes of ripe citrus fruit evolve with fatness, giving structure and complexity to this nervous, fresh and iodized Muscadet. Excellent value for money.

Bettane & Desseauve

Domain rated (2016 guide) 3*Stars (A high-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)

About the domain :

Rated (2016 guide) 15.5/20 (Good wine)

Domaine rated (2016 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the wine:

The finesse of the sands and sandstones sharpens the focus in the more complex Les Houx.

About the domain :

Jo Landron's cuvées have become benchmarks in the all-too-small family of muscadets de terroir. The wines are marketed in a staggered way, starting with the light, fruity Amphibolite - very popular with wine bars - then, depending on the case, the sandy-clay or the sandstone - the age of the vines interfering with the beautiful order of the terroirs. In the best years, Hermine d'Or combines maturity and freshness, and Fief du Breil offers real complexity.
