The work of the Château de Villeneuve is carried out using a reasoned approach, giving priority to grassing between the rows with bluegrass to optimize rooting and water supply to the vines.
AOC Saumur and AOC Saumur-Champigny wines are vinified in cellars dug into the tufa rock, at a constant temperature (12°). Château de Villeneuve. Saumur Champigny and Saumur Blanc are aged in 400 to 500-liter barrels, known as "tons" in the region. Since the 15th century Château de Villeneuve have always had a special place in the hearts of Loire wine lovers.

A blend of Cabernet Franc planted between 65 and 85 years ago, on tuffeau soil conferring good minerality. This Saumur-Champigny is suave, juicy and very vinous, with silky tannins that will refine with age. Surprisingly fruity and deep.

Les Cormiers blanc immediately reveals a nose of small white flowers and citrus fruit, followed by toasty notes. The wine is very expressive and pure on the palate, with a slender, elegant style. The attack is lively and the mineral finish recalls the superb limestone terroir.

This is the Clos that surrounds the château! It is only produced in vintages of excellent maturity. A red that always needs a few years to reveal its full potential, with great finesse, energy and magnificent concentration of fruit. Superb balance!

Even though it's aptly named, it was the land registry that bestowed the name on this small 1.5-hectare estate. It is said that horses used to come here to drink... Vinified with a fruity edge, it's a wine to be savored as a treat, and can also be enjoyed with a sunny lunch. It's perfect for summer grilling, or simply as an aperitif with friends.

"Black cherry on the nose, tannin with a persistent, coated straightness, it's already well in place" (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2015). Aged in 500-liter two- and three-wine barrels, this red from old vines is fresh, developing pleasant floral and citrus notes on the nose. A smooth, juicy and very vinous Saumur-Champigny, to be enjoyed with a fine piece of red meat, for example!
