"A superb organic Chardonnay from New Zealand!
"Chardonnay 2021 is a punchy, vigorous little wine. It offers a fruity sweetness that's matched by bracing, bright, citrus-like acidity, giving firmness on the finish. It underwent 100% wild fermentation in barrel before spending 18 months on lees. This results in soft flavors of white stone fruit and citrus. 2024-2029" (Vinous 2024) - Screw cap

About the wine:
Subtle aromas of toasted matches and roasted nuts sit just above the lemon and toast aromas, without dominating them; a salty, shellfish note is also present. On the palate, the vibrant, lemony acidity is a welcome counterbalance to the richness of the oak and cream, and builds to a long finish.

About the wine:
Chardonnay 2021 is a punchy, vigorous little wine. It offers a fruity sweetness that is accompanied by invigorating, bright, citrus-like acidity, giving firmness on the finish. This effect is the result of a high incidence of roasted berries, which is a characteristic of the Mendoza clone and was particularly prevalent in 2021. It underwent 100% wild fermentation in barrel before spending 18 months on lees. This results in soft flavors of white stone fruit and citrus. 2024-2029

About the wine:
Aromas of lemon, yellow apple and acacia, followed by shellfish, cheese rind and a hint of hay and button mushroom. Medium-bodied, refreshing acidity. Pungent layers of fascinating complexity. Made from organically grown grapes. For drinking or keeping. Screw cap.
