Cloudy Bay

Located in New Zealand's Marlborough region, in the north of the South Island, Cloudy Bay 's vineyards cover around 200 ha. A large proportion of Cloudy Bay's wines are made from the estate's own grapes, with the remainder supplied by partner growers. The majority of the grapes grown here are Sauvignon Blanc, with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir used in traditional methods, and some Riesling.

Created in 1985 by two Australians from the renowned Cape Mentelle estate in Margaret River, Cloudy Bay - a reference to the bay at the end of the Wairau Valley - is now owned by the French LVMH group.
