According to legend, the Domaine de Frégate was named after a boat that ran aground on the shore of the present-day vineyard. In an exceptional, privileged setting, perched on the Bandol hillside overlooking the sea, the Domaine de Frégate covers 30 hectares of vines planted on stony, very arid clay-limestone soils with low yields. It's this very special climate, both protected and open, that gives the wines their unique character. Bandol wines from Domaine de Frégate.

Since 1971, all Domaine de Frégate production has been vinified on the estate.
