Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated (guide 2024) 92/100 (Vintage 2022)
4-star rated estates (top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)
About the domain :
A terroir within a terroir, that's how to sum up Terrebrune, a pampered estate led by a two-headed management team of Reynald Delille and Jean d'Arthuis. Situated in Ollioules, this estate near the Mediterranean plays between sea spray and first-rate limestone soil. No muscle, no great color, but wines imbued with sensitivity, to be waited for and allowed to express their aromas. More recently, Julien Paul, the brilliant technical director, has brought out the Trias and refined Terrebrune's precious grain. The 2019 vintage culminates at the pinnacle of refined, uncluttered bandols.
