"This vintage unfolds in a material that benefits from perfect extraction, with a nose built of black fruit, notes of truffle, supple oak, a loose bouquet, all complex and charming on a tannin that opens with panache without upsetting the freshness. In the final frame, a radiant bitterness and extra woodiness. That's what we call balance. (Le Guide RVF 2024)

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
4-star rated estates (top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)
About the domain :
A terroir within a terroir, that's how to sum up Terrebrune, a pampered estate led by a two-headed management team of Reynald Delille and Jean d'Arthuis. Situated in Ollioules, this estate near the Mediterranean plays between sea spray and first-rate limestone soil. No muscle, no great color, but wines imbued with sensitivity, to be waited for and allowed to express their aromas. More recently, Julien Paul, the brilliant technical director, has brought out the Trias and refined Terrebrune's precious grain. The 2019 vintage culminates at the pinnacle of refined, uncluttered bandols.
