Château de Fontcreuse
Château de Fontcreuse, an elegant building completed in 1700, is owned by Jean-François Brando.

The Château de Fontcreuse estate extends over 28 hectares at the foot of Charlemagne's Crown, on clayey, chalky, stony Cretaceous soils with a north-east-north-west exposure. This north-facing exposure is one of the essential conditions for producing a high-quality white wine in small quantities. The vines are cultivated in the traditional way, with tillage and disbudding in the spring, and green harvesting in July to control yields, which rarely exceed 40 hectolitres per hectare. The grapes are harvested by hand, and great care is taken in the cellar.

Château de Fontcreuse benefits from the most modern winemaking techniques to obtain cuvées of the highest quality. With passion, Fontcreuse combines its terroir, tradition and perfect respect for yesterday's progress, to implement today's progress, which will be tomorrow's tradition.
