This pale peach-colored Cassis rosé, a blend of Grenache (70%) and Cinsault, is undeniably delicate. Citrus notes emanate from the glass, blending fruit and floral touches. The palate is silky smooth and fresh, with a perfect balance. A delightful wine for the table!

Cassis
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2021) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
The château has a long and rich history, dating back to the 18th century. Until the 20th century, its agricultural activity was focused on mixed farming, and it wasn't until 1922, with the purchase of the estate by Colonel Teed, a subject of Her Britannic Majesty, that viticulture took off. He cultivated not only the vines, but also his artistic taste, and it was thanks to him that illustrious artists came to spend time in Cassis. Acquired in 1987 by Jean-François Brando, the 25 hectares of vines are grouped around the château, at the foot of Charlemagne's crown, on a stony clay-limestone terroir. It has the distinction of producing 15% red wine, a rarity in the appellation. For this year's tasting, only one cuvée was presented. We hope that next year the whole range will be back.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2021) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
A fountain dug in 1687 to supply running water to the château under construction is the origin of the estate's name, which winegrower Jean-François Brando acquired exactly three centuries later, in 1987. After the French Revolution, the estate was also the home of the Commissaires de la République. Today, the vineyard covers 25 ha, producing Cassis wines of consistent quality. A sure bet.
