About the estate:

The Lapierre family has been cultivating vines in the commune of Coudoux since the late 18th century. In 1935, Jean Lapierre, then an officer in the Navy, decided to devote himself entirely to the land, which was mainly planted with olive trees. In 1952, Max Lapierre took over from his father and began transforming the estate into a wine-growing property. In 1973, his son Yves created Château Saint-Hilaire and became a winegrowing owner. The estate stretches across the stony slopes of the Coudoux hills, located halfway between Mont Sainte-Victoire and the Alpilles mountains. The vines thrive on 55 hectares of south-facing land, currently in conversion to organic farming.
