Clos de l'Ours

Clos de l'Ours
Nestled in the heart of a cirque, surrounded by forests, Clos de l'Ours is a tribute to biodiversity and to an estate whose origins date back to the Middle Ages. Biodynamically farmed, the 15-hectare vineyard, with an average age of around 50 years, flourishes in the northern part of the Côtes de Provence appellation. Located in Cotignac, the wide temperature range means that Clos de l'Ours wines combine freshness and fruitiness. The Brontons family embarked on the adventure in 2012, and since then the parents, together with their two children, have been creating their cuvées to magnify the fruits of their estate. Passionate, the Clos de l'Ours team offers sincere, elegant wines that express the typicity of the different grape varieties grown.

This southern rosé combines freshness and complexity, with a fleshy, delicate palate that retains good substance. The finish is taut and long-lasting, making it an ideal match for Asian cuisine or scallop carpaccio.

"A fresh Mediterranean expression, Milia blanc 2021 (rolle, ugni and clairette) enchants us with its spontaneity, floral notes and stony, saline finish." (Le Guide RVF 2023) Lively, taut and fresh, it delivers aromas of white flowers, citrus and acacia. With finesse and substance on the palate, it will magnify your raw fish recipes, such as ceviche with yuzu.
