"Freshness, freshness, freshness!
You can retort to Fernandel that you've got it now, and that Clos de L'Ours' l'accent 2023 rosé "takes Provence with us! This southern rosé combines freshness and complexity, with a fleshy, delicate palate that retains good substance. The finish is taut and long-lasting, making it an ideal match for Asian cuisine or scallop carpaccio.

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated 90/100 (Vintage 2022)
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
The 13-hectare vineyard, certified organic since 2000, is located on a well-drained clay-limestone terroir, bordered by a cirque of pines and oaks. The geographical location close to Cotignac gives this terroir a cooler climate, with greater thermal amplitudes than on the coast. Mainly made up of vines aged between 40 and 70 years, which is becoming a rarity in this area largely dominated by rosé production, the vineyard features the classic grape varieties of Provence.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated wine (guide 2024) 90/100 (Vintage 2022)
Domaine noté (guide 2023) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
Fabienne and Michel Brotons left their life in Marseille and invested all their savings to become winegrowers on this delightful estate in Cotignac in the Haut-Var region. It was such an exciting project that their children, who were destined for careers in commerce, joined them in the adventure. Fabien is now in charge of the vines and wines, while Émilie is in charge of sales. Their arrival has done Côtes de Provence a world of good, as the family is committed to expressing the frankness of grenache, mourvèdre, syrah, cinsault, rolle, clairette and ugni, far from the modern oenological diktats for which the region is renowned. The Brotons' understanding of their vineyards, including the transition to organic and biodynamic viticulture, has led them to produce increasingly sincere wines that they will continue to refine over the coming years.
