Gault & Millau
"The shiny, patinated style of this Côtes de Provence gives it a refined aromatic style. The notes unfold on the palate like silk fabric. The quality of the texture is excellent. We love its exquisite roundness. The notion of pleasure is immediately evoked!" (Les Meilleurs Vins de France - Gault Millau) Between power and finesse: a beautiful harmony!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2016 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
A magnificent property and the Var region's top tourist attraction, with its chapel decorated with frescoes and mosaics by Chagall, Bazaine, and Ubac, as well as a bas-relief by Giacometti, Château Sainte-Roseline is a magical place in Provence. The château is actually a former 11th-century abbey, founded by a hermit. Roseline, daughter of the Marquis de Villeneuve, Lord of Les Arcs, was the Mother Prioress of the Abbey from 1300 to 1329. She was beatified in the 19th century and her body now rests under a glass case in the chapel. Today, Aurélie Bertin deserves to be sanctified for having restored the vineyard, located near Les Arcs-sur-Argens, which covers more than 100 hectares. Hospitality is the strong point of this property and tours (with tastings) are organized throughout the year in different languages.

About the estate:
Surrounding the 11th-century Sainte-Roseline Abbey and its chapel, where the saint's relics are kept, this former vineyard belonging to the bishops of Fréjus (where Pope John XXII once stayed) is nestled among olive trees and forests, covering an area of 90 hectares. In 1994, Bernard Teillaud undertook to renovate this property, then in 2007, his daughter Aurélie Bertin Teillaud took over the estate. One of the eighteen classified growths of Provence and one of the pillars of the appellation, often in the spotlight for its reds.

About wine:
A beautiful 2010 red wine from the Prieuré cuvée, offering a smooth balance and a fragrant bouquet of sweet spices with a very delicious flavor.
About the estate:
Since 1994, Bernard Teillaud, a real estate developer from Grenoble, has invested a large part of his fortune in creating a unique setting in Sainte-Roseline, Les Arcs-sur-Argens. The 93-hectare vineyard produces beautifully crafted wines in several different categories: Lampe de Méduse, Prieure, and La Chapelle, in white, rosé, and red. The estate also offers a wide range of wines for sale. For the past ten years, Aurélie Teillaud has been managing Sainte-Roseline with great energy and determination, continuing to develop it and promote it around the world. The latest vintages show that the estate is maintaining a high standard and is one of Provence's sure values. The Teilaud family also owns Château des Demoiselles in La Motte.
