The altitude of Domaine de la Tour du Bon's land, combined with the effects of the Mistral wind, ensures good sanitation from a phytosanitary point of view. Exceptional sunshine for 300 days a year and annual rainfall of around 400 mm create a special meso-climate where the king of red wine grapes, Mourvèdre, can express itself freely, reaching rare degrees of ripeness. The vineyards of Domaine de la Tour du Bon lie on the hills of Castellet and Brulat. The vines grow on a relatively homogeneous geological substratum of marl and limestone. Domaine de la Tour du Bon in Bandol originally took its name from a watchtower erected on the highest point of the site to protect the village, thus christening the site "Tour de Bon". Over time, the digging and Favorites of its occupants transformed this modest farmhouse into a wine estate, a member of the Bandol appellation. Domaine de La Tour du Bon is located in the extreme north-west of the Bandol appellation, facing the sea.
