"On ripe red fruit, a lovely blend of 92% Syrah and 8% Viognier, the 2012 Syrah-Viogner offers classic Northern Rhône notes of violets, plums and viandescent nuances in a fresh, elegant and supple profile. It shows off the Syrah well, and remains very affordable." (Wine Advocate Dec. 2013 - Robert Parker). A fruity, greedy wine full of harmony...

Bright ruby with purple highlights
Nose
fruity, gourmand and harmonious, with aromas of blackcurrant and blueberry mingled with notes of spice
Mouth
Fresh attack, the wine is lively and mineral, with melted, round tannins. The roundness and finesse of Viognier create a wine that is more powerful and delicious than a simple Syrah wine.

Domaine noté (guide 2014) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
"This young trading house is the result of a partnership between the Perrin family (of Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape) and Nicolas Jaboulet (ex-director of the family firm Paul Jaboulet et Fils). Two great names from the south and north of the valley, bringing out a small collection of crus from the north. The wines are selected in barrel before malolactic fermentation at the winemakers', and then aged at Perrin, near Orange. Blending then follows. The style of the whites is precise, dry, square, with a good intermediate level. To date, we prefer the brightness and density of the reds.
