Nicolas Perrin House
Visit Nicolas Perrin House was born in 2009 from the association of the Perrin family, a reference in the southern Rhône Valley, and Nicolas Jaboulet, a child of the northern Rhône.

Visit Nicolas Perrin House produces a range of high quality Rhône Valley wines in small quantities, exclusively from the northern appellations. For each appellation, supplies are sourced from winemakers and long-standing friends, in order to select quality wines for barrel ageing. This is followed by a period of barrel ageing in the Perrin family cellars, allowing the wines to mature before bottling.

The first vintages of the Nicolas Perrin House date back to 2006 for Ermitage rouge, 2007 for Côte-Rotie and Saint Joseph, and 2008 for Hermitage blanc. All our wines have received excellent reviews from the specialist press.

"Sumptuous and smoky, with notes of laurel and tobacco among infused flavors of plum and blackberry. Hints of black tea and sanguine notes end in a seductive finish. Drink from 2020 to 2027." (Wine Spectator 2019)

Maison Nicolas Perrin - Saint-Joseph 2012

87-89/100 Robert Parker

Score: Robert Parker 87-89/100
"The 2012 Saint-Joseph is another delicious wine from this producer. Leather, red and black fruits, crushed stone burst from the glass. This solid, gorgeous, medium-bodied bottle is juicy and fresh, well-balanced and long on the palate. Drink within its first 5-7 years, or more." (Wine Advocate Dec. 2013 - Robert Parker). Complex, with mellow tannins, this wine is powerful and racyly elegant!

88/100 Robert Parker

Score : Robert Parker 88/100
"On ripe red fruit, a lovely blend of 92% Syrah and 8% Viognier, the 2012 Syrah-Viogner offers classic Northern Rhône notes of violets, plums and viandescent nuances in a fresh, elegant and supple profile. It shows off the Syrah well, and remains very affordable." (Wine Advocate Dec. 2013 - Robert Parker). A fruity, greedy wine full of harmony...

Maison Nicolas Perrin - Saint-Peray 2012

With its brilliant pale yellow color, this Saint-Peray is greedy and full-bodied, developing delicious citrus and spicy notes. To be enjoyed in its fruity, fresh youth, it will be perfect as an aperitif, or with a small fried dish.

Maison Nicolas Perrin - Crozes-Hermitage 2011

15/20 RVF

Note : RVF 15/20
"We'll be tasting the reds first, including the lovely Crozes-Hermitage, with its fruity, elegant and easy-to-digest profile." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2014 - RVF). A Crozes-Hermitage that is very greedy, balanced and concentrated, offering immediate pleasure from the moment it opens, with very present fruit. A real success!

Maison Nicolas Perrin - Condrieu 2011

14/20 RVF

Note : RVF 14/20
This Condrieu has a very aromatic first nose, exotic with citrus notes and slightly floral. On the palate, the attack is frank and the wine well-balanced. A white that leaves a very pleasant impression, with good length. Already tasty!

Maison Nicolas Perrin - Hermitage 2010

Notes : Robert Parker 91/100, Bettane & Desseauve 16/20, RVF 15/20
"This exceptional Hermitage Blanc 2010 (barrel blend of 70% Marsanne and 30% Roussanne) has lovely notes of marzipan, crème brûlée, honeysuckle, rosewater and fresh fruit, with lovely minerality and acidity. Drink this great white over the next 7-10 years." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Saint-Joseph opens with floral, slightly honeyed notes. Aromas of roasted almonds and acacia on the palate, for a warm, subtle wine, without losing its balance on the finish. A lovely bottle!

Note : RVF 16,5/20
The first nose of this very fine Côte-Rôtie is closed. Then, after aeration, aromas of black fruits and spices emerge. The wine is silky on the palate, elegant and charming. The long finish shows that this wine has many years ahead of it. A most promising future!
