Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (guide 2018) 15/20 + Gold Medal Prix Plaisir (Very good wine)
Domaine noté (guide 2019) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the wine:
A literally floral bouquet with notes of peony, rose and jasmine. Harmonious, balanced and discreet. Refined, delicate juice.
A very interesting wine, powerful and shimmering, full of ripe fruit.
About the domain :
This estate was created by the Wallut family in 1990, when they decided to plant Viognier around their vacation home. The vines are located between 400 and 600 meters above sea level, bringing freshness and elegance to the estate's wines. The 13 hectares of small plots are located on southeast-facing, mistral-swept hillsides, on marl and limestone soils. Half of the estate's production is white, almost entirely dedicated to the Viognier grape variety, which, thanks to its altitude, produces delicate, floral wines. The reds are also full-bodied and floral.

About the wine:
Concentrated color with violet highlights. Fine nose of ripe black fruit with a spicy, smoky background and a touch of tapenade. A style dominated by suppleness and freshness, without forgetting the aromatic characteristics of its grape varieties and region.
