"It stands out among the 2013s thanks to its extra velvetiness. It's round, with red and wild fruit aftertaste. Already good and accessible." (Le Guide des bonnes affaires du vin 2016 - Gerbelle & Maurange) This Châteauneuf-du-Pape is the very expression of its appellation: beautiful red fruit, loaded with sunshine and a fresh attack that counterbalances the overall power. Excellent value for money!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2016 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Situated in the terroirs close to Orange, the 5 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape include vines over a hundred years old, which explains the intensity of the 2012 presented. The Côtes-du-Rhône from the same estate are also remarkable, and the young winemaking couple now in charge are working in exemplary fashion. Before this wine becomes too well-known, give it a chance in your cellar.
