Robert Parker
"In the Gasparri family since 1920, this consistently high-quality estate has reached a milestone with this remarkable cuvée from start to finish. The dark, dense color heralds a fine concentration. The nose, both powerful and elegant, blends red and black fruits, garrigue, fresh leather and a few animal touches. Ample and long, the palate charms with its softness and richness, underlined by well-established yet velvety tannins. A model of harmony, this wine will gain in complexity over the next five years". Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine noté (guide 2013) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the domain :
The domaine is not spread over a single hillside, even if it is angelic, but over several well-situated parcels in the southern and central parts of the appellation. He also owns two and a half hectares of Côtes du Rhône. All this has progressed well.

Tasted with a spicy Reunionese dish, this wine was very fruity but still young and aggressive. The tannins should soften within 2 years.
