Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated (2018 guide) 16/20 (Very good wine)
Domaine rated (2019 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the wine:
Full-bodied black fruit juice, tannins still a little firm but well grained, precision, length, lovely wine in the making.
About the domain :
We often prefer reds to whites, which are often heavy and lack freshness.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated wine (2018 guide) Cited (Successful wine)
About the wine:
Still closed at this stage of the tasting, this wine delivers discreet smoky and peppery notes on aeration. Animal and spicy on the palate, it also appears round and subtle, with fine tannins. A classic cornas that will evolve well.
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Rated (2017 guide) 91/100 (Outstanding wine)
Domaine noté Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
Cornas Harmonie 2015 is already easily accessible. The wine is full-bodied and concentrated, with pure blackcurrant aromas and supple tannins that carry through to a slightly dusty finish. No, this isn't an example of a complex Cornas, but it's a fine effort and unlike many 2015s, this one will be best consumed in its youth.
