(2017 Vintage ratings)

This half-Syrah, half-Grenache red Costières de Nîmes reveals an expressive nose of ripe, even candied red fruit. On the palate, it's full-bodied, fleshy and greedy, with generous notes of wild strawberries and blueberries and a spicy finish. All the Mediterranean in the glass!

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domain rated 1*Star (A serious, commendable production, in keeping with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the domain :

In 2004, Pascal Glas decided to take over the family vineyards after more than twenty years of winemaking in cooperative wineries in the south of France. Situated on the north-western edge of the Costières de Nîmes appellation, he makes straightforward, honest wines with exemplary balance and purity of fruit. The wines are thirst-quenching, with great depth of fruit, without ever being overdone.
