Guide Hachette des vins
Domain rated (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
To revive the vineyards of Seyssuel, upstream from Vienne, 3 renowned winemakers, Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard and François Villard, created this business in 1996, producing fine IGP estate wines in Seyssuel, parcel selections in northern AOCs and wines for the whole valley.

Domain rated (guide 2022) Selected (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the domains that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
The trio of Villard, Cuilleron and Gaillard began the Vins de Vienne adventure in the late 1990s. Initially, the idea was to breathe new life into the superb, forgotten terroirs of Seyssuel, one of the Rhône Valley's first vineyards: of the 16 hectares of vines, 11 were planted between 1996 and 2001. Over the years, the range has expanded with the purchase of new grapes. While the wines from the Seyssuel terroirs remain admirable and are the hallmark of the domaine, the other cuvées are less convincing, leading us to withdraw the star from the domaine this year.
