"Lovely, tender but full-bodied palate. Very appetizing fruit, fresh but balanced with just the right amount of ripeness. The tannins envelop the fruit without dominating it." (RVF June 2014 - Spécial Millésime 2013) On the border with the renowned Gigondas appellation, Domaine Chamfort's Côtes-du-Rhône Sablet parcel is located on a terrace high above the village. Syrahs around twenty years old and Grenache around fifty years old are planted. This is a fine wine with beautiful red fruit and exceptional freshness.

About the domain :
Trained by the brilliant Alain Paret (his Saint-Joseph 420 nuits is grandiose), Vasco Urruty Perdigao is at the helm of this estate boasting superb terroirs in Sablet, Rasteau and Vacqueyras. Together with his wife Sonia, they form an innovative and passionate winemaking duo. They have been working towards organic farming for several years now, and have made numerous advances in terms of winemaking. An estate on the rise! Bravo
