Drink or Keep
A wonderful introduction to the world of the estate, guided by biodynamic viticulture. This Côtes du Rhône Villages comes from a predominantly sandy-clay parcel. A blend of Grenache-Syrah, it develops a sparkling nose of red berries, spices and a marked Mediterranean character on the palate. Medium-bodied and dense on the palate, it's already delicious, sustained by a pleasant freshness!

Domaine Duseigneur
Côtes du Rhône
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
The 30-hectare estate is divided into two parts, in the communes of Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres and Lirac. On the right bank of the Rhône, the terroir is made up of rolled pebbles, on soils that are first clay-limestone, then sandy. Since the estate was founded, the Duseigneur family has always cultivated its land naturally, respecting the nature of the soil as much as possible, and today practices biodynamic viticulture. The different cuvées all have a serious structure and are often quite closed in their youth. The domaine also produces a second range under the domaine-de-mayran brand. We note that recent vintages have gained in finesse and texture, certainly the result of their recent collaboration with oenologist Philippe Cambie.
