"This special cuvée, which was Favorite in the 2009 vintage, returns to us in fine form in a more complicated year. More elegant than powerful, the spice-tinged fruit aromas permeate a beautifully designed, well-balanced palate, supported by mellow tannins and preserved freshness. A good classic. Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2019 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
Christèle Plantevin loves food and wine. She first had a professional life before returning to Cairanne to take over this family estate dating back to 1902, where the garrigue terroir (red clay in the subsoil and pebbles on the surface) gives power and complexity to her wines. By limiting yields, the richness and typicity of both red and white wines are preserved.
