Pelaquié Estate
Since the 16th century, the Pélaquié family has been cultivating vines in the southern Rhône Valley. The estate is located in the commune of St Victor la Coste, on the right bank of the Côte du Rhône, and is certified High Environmental Quality Level 3 (HVE 3). The Pélaquié estate covers nearly 100 hectares and produces two Rhône Valley wines, Lirac and Tavel, Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun and Côtes du Rhône.

One of the specific features of the Pélaquié estate is that nearly 30% of its vines are white. There are a variety of grape varieties such as Bourboulenc, Clairette, Viognier, Grenache blanc, and Marsanne. For reds, Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah Mourvèdre, Carignan, and a little Counoise Noire are the estate's main grape varieties. The vineyards located in the Laudun AOP are spread out over stony, gravelly slopes or across the plain on sandy clay soils composed of fossilized sediments. Luc Pélaquié and his sons are committed to offering mature wines that are ready to drink, thanks in particular to a very precise ripening process and state-of-the-art winemaking techniques.
