"Affordable gourmet wine"

"Composed of equal parts Clairette and Grenache, with the addition of Viognier and a touch of Marsanne, vinified and aged in 500L barrels for four months, this cuvée charms with its complex and captivating nose of hawthorn, cut grass, and dried apricot, enhanced by a hint of butter. On the palate, it is lively on the attack, then voluminous and silky, with hints of chamomile and toasted bread, stimulated by a beautiful tension that gives it length." Review and opinion by Mr. MATHIEU W. Published on 08/05/2023

Light golden yellow or medium straw yellow color. On the nose, a hint of white fruit and green melon, but mainly wild fennel and various garrigue herbs. Wood notes beautifully interwoven in the bouquet. On the palate, an initial taste of citrus, grapefruit, green melon, juicy vegetables, fine acidity, power, and lots of substance. Perfect balance. Long, lingering finish with a sensation of glycerin on the lips at the end. A very gastronomic wine. This can easily compete with Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Score: 17.5+/20
