"A must-have Rhone wine cellar!
"Mainly Grenache and Syrah, Côtes Du Rhône Le Temps Est Venu 2022 is straightforward and full of charm, offering plenty of black raspberry and redcurrant fruit, as well as garrigue and peppery spice. It's medium to full-bodied, round, structured and beautifully balanced." (Jeb Dunnuck 2024)

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 4*Stars (Top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)
About the domain :
Stéphane Ogier's ambition can be measured not only by the quality of his wines, but also by his new winery. A magnificent work tool for vinifying his Côte-Rôtie and Seyssuel terroirs on a parcel-by-parcel basis. Barrel vinification is mastered thanks to long maturation periods. A reliable source of excellent Northern Rhône Syrahs, prized by top sommeliers and wine merchants the world over.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (guide 2024) 2*Stars (These great estates, often endowed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the domain :
Since 2014, Stéphane Ogier has been vinifying in an ultra-contemporary winery in Ampuis, giving free rein to his creative talent. Of the 18 hectares farmed by this estate, 3.5 hectares are located on beautiful Côte-Rôtie parcels. Stéphane joined his father Michel in 1997 after studying oenology in Beaune, from which he has retained a taste for elegance and finesse. The wines are made from partially destemmed grapes (50% whole harvest in the Cuvée Lancement). The precision of recent vintages, the rigorous selection of plot-based cuvées and the style now displayed by the wines place the domaine among the elite, and the third star is now in sight.

About the wine:
Lovely spicy nose - crushed red fruit, juicy and sappy. Round on the palate, with firm tannins. Textured, spicy and earthy with a touch of graphite. Ripe and voluminous.

About the wine:
A juicy, aromatic and fresh blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. The nose reveals notes of black cherry, cassis, black pepper and dried thyme. Medium-bodied with fine tannins. Juicy and well-behaved, with blue fruit in the middle and a spicy finish. Enjoy now.

Medium to full-bodied and marked by the fine ripeness of the very good 2022 vintage, this cuvée of immediate pleasure delights with abundant, intensely fruity juice (raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant), underscored by scents of garrigue and set by supple, silky tannins, and above all accompanied by great freshness. Deep, lively length, with a touch of pepper. Excellent Q.R./Price-Pleasure. This is the perfect Southern red, worked with restraint, which will sublimate beautifully grilled Aubrac beef thyme brochettes and pork chops, accompanied by ratatouille. Score = 4.1.

Middeldiep paars. Score: 15,5/20
