(2018 vintage notes)
syrah
elegant
bombine ardéchoise

Notes of smoked meat lend savory, fleshy appeal to the black cherry and cassis in this broad-shouldered Syrah. Aging in both barrel and tank balances fleshy black fruit with lively acidity and chalky, persistent tannins. Halfway between supple, suave and full-bodied, Cuvée 4 Vents is an exceptionally elegant representative of Crozes.

Domaine noté (guide 2021) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)

About the domain :

Lucie and Nacy Fourel took their vines out of the Cave Coop in 2010, the year of their first vintage. Today, their 10 hectares are vinified with indigenous yeasts and without SO2, with greater success in reds than in whites.
