Robert Parker
"Power and intensity
"Luscious, savory flavors of blueberry and blackberry jam are etched by notes of eucalyptus, iron and earth in this powerful Syrah from 50-year-old organic vines. Aged 18 months in large casks, it's a bright, perfumed sip framed by soft, supple tannins and subtle acidity. At its peak now and through 2025." (Wine Enthusiast 2021) From the Saint-Jaimes parcel planted over 50 years ago by Lucie and Nancy's grandfather, this cuvée offers us all the intensity of the Crozes-Hermitage terroir.

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine noté (guide 2021) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the domain :
Lucie and Nacy Fourel took their vines out of the Cave Coop in 2010, the year of their first vintage. Today, their 10 hectares are vinified with indigenous yeasts and without SO2, with greater success in reds than in whites.
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Rated (2020 guide) 89-91/100 (Wonderful wine)
Domaine noté Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
The 2017 Crozes Hermitage Saint-Jaimes offers attractive accents of cedar and menthol to its blackberry and blackcurrant fruit. A medium- to full-bodied wine, it's lively and taut on the palate, then finishes with chewy tannins. If these fade before the fruit fades, my score might seem conservative.
