A Viognier from the Southern Rhône, charming, expressive and elegant without heaviness. This beautiful cuvée comes from a predominantly limestone terroir, and is harvested at night for optimum expression of Viognier's finesse. Opt for a local pairing with truffle-flavored dishes such as an omelet or ravioli gratin, or as an aperitif for a simple moment of sharing! A white wine to tantalize the taste buds!

About the domain :

For four generations, this estate has been steadily expanding. Today, it owns 78 hectares, mainly in the Drôme provençale region, around Grignan and Vinsobres. Consistent in quality, the wines offer fine expressions of their terroirs, thanks to controlled barrel ageing. The wines of the Grignan-les-Adhémar appellation are among the region's finest examples. Note the beautiful homogeneity of the samples tasted over the 2017 and 2018 vintages.

A very pretty, well-balanced wine, pleasing both on the nose and on the palate. Not too typical of Viognier, subtle and delicate. A great success.

An appellation that's still too little known to the general public, yet very interesting indeed. A perfect definition of Viognier, with an expressive nose of apricot, a hint of milk and floral notes. The palate is coated with a lovely texture. A warm style in which the alcohol takes over a little on aeration, but a wine that remains authentic and very good value for money.

A 100% Viognier found on Michelin-starred tables. For Viognier lovers with a top Q/P ratio. I tested it over several years.

I can't be objective with this vintage. I'm crazy about it. It's technically irreproachable, gourmand and heady. And the value for money makes it one of my favorite white wines when I want immediate pleasure.

Admittedly, it's not a Condrieu, but for three times the price or more, there's nothing to complain about. The Viognier taste is well present, very round, and the alcohol is well blended throughout. Drink it within the year, or keep it, at the risk of it closing up like many southern white wines.
