Domaine noté (guide 2020) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the domain :
For four generations, this estate has grown from strength to strength. Today, it owns 78 hectares, mainly in the Drôme provençale region, around Grignan and Vinsobres. Consistent in quality, the wines offer fine expressions of their terroirs, thanks to controlled barrel ageing. The wines of the Grignan-les-Adhémar appellation are among the region's finest examples. Note the beautiful homogeneity of the samples tasted over the 2017 and 2018 vintages.

About the domain :

A farandole of grape varieties for a farandole of flavors! Suave, round, almost fat on the palate, with yellow fruit and floral notes. Short finish enhanced by acidity. Dominated by the Viognier grape, the wine is very ripe and lacks a little freshness for my taste. Score = 3.3. This atypical CDR was paired at 11° with pan-fried trout with almonds.
