This cuvée comes from stony terraces of limestone origin, where small pebbles store heat during the day and release it at night. Ripeness is thus optimal, giving this white Crozes-Hemitage a beautiful aromatic intensity. The wine perfectly combines fullness, balance and freshness, with notes of lime blossom, candied citrus and yellow fruit. A great classic!

Delicate, with licorice and cherry aromas, fine, silky tannins and a long, precise structure, this cuvée is the perfect marriage of two strong Côte Rôtie personalities. When Olivier serves Roland "[...] wine, the wine that the great Pompey loved" in Victor Hugo's La Légende des Siècles, they wouldn't have disowned this one! This white Saint-Joseph is very expressive, with aromas of pear and pineapple. The attack is full-bodied, carried by white-fleshed fruit flavors and a saline, nicely acidic finish. It lives up to its name!
