"A well-balanced, juicy and fruity blend [...]. The nose reveals aromas of red berries, dried thyme, bay leaves and lots of baking spices, which carry through to a medium-bodied palate with silky tannins and fine texture. This is a serious Côtes-du-Rhône with lots of juicy, fun fruit and a touch of spice on the finish." (James Suckling 2024)

"Lots of black and green pepper on the nose, along with hints of blackberry. Impressive concentration and supple, full tannins give it considerable power on the long, velvety, earthy finish. Excellent ageing potential, which is rare in this vintage". (James Suckling 2023).

91/100 James Suckling
"A juicy, frank and fruity Saint-Joseph. The nose reveals notes of wild berries, cherries and peppercorns. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins. The palate is serious, with intense spice giving energy to the delicious red fruit character. Peppery finish." (James Suckling 2024)
Paul Jaboulet Aîné - Côtes du Rhône Parallèle 45 blanc 2023
4/5 (3 reviews)
90/100 James Suckling
"A juicy, fresh and supple blend of 38% Viognier, 33% Grenache blanc, 12% Roussanne, 10% Clairette and 7% Marsanne. Light and agile with a fresh core of lemons, warm herbs and white fruits. Refreshing and aromatic with a mellow finish." (James Suckling 2024). It's a must-have, an all-rounder that will go down well with everyone, that's for sure!
Paul Jaboulet Aîné - Crozes Hermitage Les Jalets blanc 2023
This cuvée comes from stony terraces of limestone origin, where small pebbles store heat during the day and release it at night. Ripeness is thus optimal, giving this white Crozes-Hemitage a beautiful aromatic intensity. The wine perfectly combines fullness, balance and freshness, with notes of lime blossom, candied citrus and yellow fruit. A great classic!
Paul Jaboulet Aîné - Saint Péray Les Sauvagères blanc 2021
92/100 James Suckling
"A fresh, precise Saint-Péray with notes of green apples, fresh flowers, bay leaves and white almonds. Bright and lively, with lively acidity. Medium-bodied and very mineral, it has a vertical edge. Luscious finish." (James Suckling 2023)
Paul Jaboulet Aîné - Côte Rôtie Les Jumelles 2021
One of France's oldest vineyards, developed by the Romans in the Middle Ages, it is said that the Seigneur de Maugiron divided his property between his two daughters, one blonde, the other brunette, hence the names given to the Côte Brune and Côte Blonde wines. Delicate, with licorice and cherry aromas, fine, silky tannins and a long, precise structure, this cuvée is the perfect marriage of two strong Côte Rôtie personalities. All in refinement. - Limited quantities available!

94/100 Vinous
-
94/100 Robert Parker
-
94/100 James Suckling
"Hermitage La Maison Bleue 2018 comes from the eastern part of the appellation and happens to be much fleshier and opulent than La Chapelle, which features a more mineral framework. Notes of jammy blackberries and cassis but also crushed herbs, graphite and violets accompanied by remarkable richness, beautiful concentration and a great finish make this a fascinating Hermitage." (Jeb Dunnuck)
Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné - Cornas Les Grandes Terrasses 2020
4/5 (1 review)
91-93/100 Jeb Dunnuck
This Cornas, with its deep core of black fruit, notes of cedar wood, chocolate and hints of game, is a rich, complex wine. It's full-bodied and concentrated, making it a perfect match for small game (hare, wild rabbit) and waterfowl (mallard, greylag goose).
Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné Saint-Joseph Le Grand Pompée 2022
4.5/5 (2 reviews)
When Olivier serves Roland "[...] wine, the wine that the great Pompey loved" in Victor Hugo's La Légende des Siècles, they wouldn't have disowned this one! Indeed, this white Saint-Joseph is very expressive, with aromas of pear and pineapple. The attack is full-bodied, carried by white-fleshed fruit flavors and a saline, nicely acidic finish. It lives up to its name!
Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné - Côte Rôtie Les Pierrelles 2020
94-96/100 Vinous
-
94-95/100 James Suckling
-
91-93/100 Robert Parker
"Opaque ruby. The highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh cherry and dark berries, sandalwood, olive and smoky bacon, as well as a mineral note. Smooth, even and penetrating on the palate, it offers concentrated flavors of boysenberry, cherry-cola and floral pastille, with hints of licorice and vanilla. It plays richness and finesse with a supple hand and finishes impressively long and juicy, with supple tannins on the finish. (Vinous 2022).
Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné - Condrieu Les Cassines 2019
4/5 (1 review)
92/100 James Suckling
"The nose of green apple, yellow plum, dried herbs and flowers follows through to a medium-bodied palate with lively acidity. The palate is zesty with plenty of ripe lemon character. Well-conducted and concentrated with a funnel-shaped finish. Enjoy or keep." (James Suckling 2023)

94/100 Jeb Dunnuck
"Jaboulet's Hermitage La Maison Bleue 2017 is a totally seductive cuvée, full-bodied, luscious and generous without being too ripe or unstructured. Licorice, blackcurrant and Asian five-spice powder burst from the glass in a complex swirl of fragrances and flavors. From the eastern end of the appellation, it offers instant gratification and admirable quality at a fraction of the price of La Chapelle." (Wine Advocate 2019). A legendary hillside and history have built the mythical reputation of this grand cru over the centuries.

"[...] A blend of two-thirds Marsanne and one-third Roussanne, made mainly in concrete eggs but with a few 600-liter demi-muids in the mix, it offers aromas of roasted cashews alongside ripe pear, melon and even peach. Medium- to full-bodied, it's luxurious on the palate - generous yet structured, with a long, long finish of citrus and stones." (Wine Advocate 2021)
