L'Hermitage Roc de Monge is made from Syrah vines grown on steep, almost vertiginous granite slopes. A highly concentrated, single-varietal blend that develops powerful aromas. This wine offers a highly developed bouquet with notes of humus and undergrowth, and floral aromas of violet. A powerful yet harmonious wine to discover!

complete destemming before vatting. Each grape variety is vinified separately. Vinification lasts 2 to 3 weeks, with daily pumping-over.

Breeding

After fermentation, the cuvée is blended and aged in barrels and tuns for approximately 10 months.

complex and fine, with notes of ripe fruit such as plum and cherry and hints of chocolate and pepper

Mouth

Sweet spices mingle with red berries to produce a supple, generous and harmonious palate of elegance. The melted tannins give a silky wine and a good acidity/fat balance.
