Lafond Roc-Epine Estate
With a strong family and wine-growing heritage in Tavel, Jean-Pierre Lafond decided to set up his own winery in 1970. A horse lover, he took inspiration from the name of a famous trotter, Roquepine, to name his estate Domaine Lafond Roc-Epine.

When his son Pascal joined the business, they decided to market all of the estate's wines: Côtes-du-Rhône, Tavel, and Lirac. In 2001, Domaine Lafond Roc-Epine expanded to the other side of the Rhône with the purchase of 87 acres of vineyards in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.

Domaine Lafond Roc-Epine converted to organic farming in 2009, abandoning the use of pesticides, herbicides, and other synthetic products. The estate has been officially certified organic since 2012.

Today, three generations work hand in hand at Domaine Lafond Roc Epine, with the arrival of Jean-Baptiste Lafond, Pascal's son.
