Domaine de la Citadelle
The vineyards of Domaine de la Citadelle today totals 39 hectares of vines, planted on predominantly clay-limestone soils with veins of stony scree. Grown using sustainable methods, with no chemical weedkillers or fertilizers, the Domaine de la Citadelle We work with a constant concern for quality, carrying out a great deal of green harvesting and harvesting mainly by hand. In terms of vinification, each stage is carried out with the greatest respect for the grapes, in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, with gentle pressing. The wines of Domaine de la Citadelle are regularly rewarded in the trade press, and are characterized by great finesse and freshness.
