"A rosé with character, ideal for meals"

Pétula is a very distinguished rosé, combining power and freshness. Its expressive nose delivers subtle notes of small red berries, a touch of wild strawberries, and passion fruit. The palate is juicy, rich, and tangy. The finish lingers on white-fleshed fruits and notes of mango. A fresh and fruity rosé to enjoy with any meal!

Rated estate (2023 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Marrenon is one of France's most sophisticated cooperatives. It brings together nine wineries, no less than 7,600 hectares of vineyards, and has bottled more than 85% of the Luberon's annual production for 40 years. This is a remarkable feat in terms of quality, as evidenced by a very diverse and comprehensive range of wines. These wines are deliciously fruity, without losing sight of their terroir of origin.

An iconic wine from Vignobles Marrenon. And with good reason, as the palate is won over by its delicacy and freshness, which blend harmoniously with notes of red berries, exotic aromas, and subtle spices, coupled with a beautiful roundness. The soft and mellow texture lingers into a full-bodied finish that is very rich in fruit. As an added bonus, it comes at a reasonable and stable price. We love the assertive character of Pétula, which was equally at home as an aperitif or with a Provençal-style red tuna dish. Rating = 3.9.
