New vintage, 2009 rated: Médaille d'Or Concours des vins d'Orange 2011, Médaille d'Argent Vinalies Internationales 2011, Bettane & Desseauve 14.5/20
Located in the heart of Provence, in the southern part of the Lubéron, Lourmarin is one of France's most beautiful villages. Produced from a selection of plots at the foot of the village, this cuvée is intense, with nuances of fresh blackcurrant liqueur and licorice. It's an ample, round wine, with present but silky tannins... A very fine Lubéron red!
