Jancis Robinson
"Syrah with noble, pure fruit, sincere in its spicy and fruity notes".
"Full, dense nose. The palate has a sweet core of fruit and marked, robust tannins. It's chewy and straightforward, with a note of blue fruit coming through on the extended finish, and there's some detail under the oak that subtly creeps in on the finish. It's young and introverted, but has potential." (Jancis Robinson 2022)

About the domain :
This small estate in Saint-Jean de Muzols has been making wine for a long time, but took a new route when Bastien Jolivet took over from his father in 2014, and decided to stop supplying his grapes to the cooperative. His vineyard is established on beautiful hillsides; the wines made from it are vinified with indigenous yeast, fermented in used barrels. The reds include a proportion of whole grapes and are matured in demi-muid.
