About the domain :

Established in the heart of Collioure, in one of the town's smallest streets, this estate has been run since 2006 by Laetitia Piétri-Clara, who took over from her mother Maguy. Supported by oenologist Hélène Grau, the winemaker continues the tradition begun in the late 19th century by her great-grandfather Étienne Géraud, a doctor who returned to the family vineyards. The vineyard covers 20 ha, mainly in the Banyuls and Collioure appellations.

Grenache asserts itself on the nose, then on the palate, the grape's pleasant range and sweetness give this wine its seductive, generous, slightly spicy profile, with striking fruit. The Roussillon region conceals many Gems , including this dazzling Sine Nomine. Beautiful attack, as fresh as it is greedy. Then comes a complexity of jammy black fruits, intermingled with notes of spice, humus and leather on a spherical palate, with great depth dominated by its structure. Endowed with astonishing sapidity, the graceful texture benefits from tannins as powerful as they are refined. A hint of saltiness adds personality and depth to the intense, voluptuous finish, which is enhanced by a touch of toast. Potential. However, we're already enjoying this devilishly charming Collioure with duck aiguillettes with black mushrooms and bambo shoots, .served with fragrant rice. Score = 4.3.
