Domaine de la Rectorie
Domaine de la Rectorie is a family-run estate now managed by Marc and Thierry Parcé, a true jewel of the Roussillon in the AOC Banyuls and AOC Collioures appellations.

The age of the vines, controlled yields and the preservation of original grape varieties enable Domaine de La Rectorie to produce AOC Banyuls and AOC Collioures wines of impeccable quality, in harmony with the identity of this terroir. The main grape variety used for Domaine de la Rectorie wines is Grenache Noir for Banyuls, with a little Syrah, Carignan and Mourvèdre for Collioure. The white wines are made from Grenache Gris.

"The wood is still prominent, but that doesn't matter, the wine has a mass capable of digesting it. In the meantime, we enjoy the slightly licorice sweetness on notes of cinnamon, cardamom and black figs. Structured without being heady, the wine finishes on a perfect touch of mint." Its freshness is reminiscent of sea spray, and its notes of garrigue and black fruits make it a perfect match for fish. Its texture makes it a perfect accompaniment to roasted meats, and its silky tannins mean it can be kept for a decade. A real pleasure!
