Barlande is a deep, intense cuvée that stands the test of time and improves with age. Red and black fruits wrapped in notes of leather, licorice and sweet spices. Powerful, yet silky tannins give this wine a powerful character. A jewel in the bottle!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated (guide 2024) 92/100
About the wine:
More animal, gamey nuances than the oriental, with the more pronounced contribution of carignan. A beautiful palette of flavors for this deep, complex wine.

Wine rated (guide 2024) 92/100
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
Extra refinement for Barlande, with notes of thyme and rosemary. The palate is slender and greedy, with a long, spicy finish.
About the domain :
Back on the family land since 1984, the Parcé brothers first made a name for themselves producing vintage-style mutés sur grains banyuls (vintage, ready-to-drink young), to which they brought a previously unknown precision of flavor and aromatic intensity. Jean-Emmanuel embodies the family's renewal, arriving in 2010. He has reduced the size of the vineyard to 34 hectares of this highly fragmented plot (50 parcels). Sun exposure and altitude vary. He has taken up the challenge of organic farming in this arid landscape, which lives to the rhythm of the sea. The dry reds and whites have become benchmarks, with frank, intense expression. We salute the exceptional consistency of the range, in all three colors, as well as in the VDN, and it's only logical that it should earn back its second star.

About the wine:
Subtle, elegant nose of cherries, red plums, wild strawberries and some wet stones. Medium-bodied with fine tannins. Crisp and precise, it is characterized by its verticality. Crisp and succulent, with forest berries towards the refreshing finish. Grenache and carignan. Made from organically grown grapes. For drinking or cellaring.
