James Suckling
"The elegance of barrel-aged Grenache Blanc".
"A half-white Grenache, half-Macabeu with a floral, vanilla nose, full and powerful on the palate, with lovely acidity and a woodiness that's still very present. We'll put it in the cellar for more mellowness, the pleasure is yet to come." (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

About the wine:
A half-white Grenache, half-Macabeu with a floral, vanilla nose, full and powerful on the palate, with good acidity and a woodiness that's still very present. Put it in the cellar for more mellowness, the pleasure is yet to come.
About the domain :
Véronique Boudau and her brother Pierre have run the family estate since 1993. They decided to breathe new life into the estate, which covers some 50 hectares on excellent terroirs at the entrance to the Agly valley. The gamble paid off: the entire production is bottled and marketed, notably through a network of restaurants and wine merchants. A sure bet, the vineyard has been converted to organic farming. Véronique's daughter has just joined the adventure.

About the wine:
Nose of pear, peach and apple. Fleshy and fruity with juicy stone fruit and medium to full body. Stonier finish.
