Domain Boudau
Domain Boudau, located in the Agly valley, is run by the fourth generation of Boudau family: Pierre and Véronique. The siblings, who have run the estate since 1993, have shifted production from Doux Naturels to dry wines, and have worked to highlight the potential of their terroirs. Domain Boudau has been an organic winegrower since the 2020 vintage.

Domain Boudau is divided into two estates: Le Clos and Les Terrasses. Le Clos is located in the foothills of the Corbières mountains, covering 23 hectares in a single block of clay-limestone soil. The main grape varieties are Grenache and Syrah. Les Terrasses, a 27-hectare estate, lies on the Baixas plateau, on a quaternary clay-limestone terrace. Grenache Noir is again the dominant grape variety, complemented by Malvoisie, Maccabeu, Grenache Blanc and Vermentino.

"A dry, fruity Muscat!

A fruity, dry Muscat with a lemon color and green highlights. The nose is magnificently aromatic, a perfect reflection of Muscat, with aromas of lemon, lemongrass and orange blossom. Fresh and elegant, the palate gives the impression of biting into a bunch of Muscat grapes. Ideal with sea bass with fennel, or even a sweet and sour dish!

"The elegance of barrel-aged Grenache blanc".

"A half-white Grenache, half-Macabeu with a floral, vanilla nose, full and powerful on the palate, with lovely acidity and a woodiness that's still very present. We'll put it in the cellar for more mellowness, the pleasure is yet to come." (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

"It looks like a burlat cherry, but it also has the same aromas. Blackberry jam is enhanced by a fresh note of blackcurrant. The palate is ample and generous: the fruit is crunchy, the tannins melt into the sweetness of the fruit and a minty freshness. The spicy finish returns to cherry. Powerful, brilliant and suitable for laying down". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2021)

"This 2018 arouses the desire for discovery at first sight! Gold attracts. Very expressive, the nose plays on the ripeness of yellow peach apricot and more subtle buttery notes, followed by a delightful hint of honeyed flowers. A round fullness on the palate: aromas of vanilla spices vanilla-spice aromas appear on a fruity background, and freshness freshness. An excellent match for spicy cuisine, such as monkfish with saffron". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2020)

Médaille d'Or Concours Paris

"Built on Vermentino (80%, with Grenache in addition), an original white from the outset, with its slightly golden color and complex aromatic palette: on the first nose, fresh floral fragrances; on aeration, lemony fruitiness with candied tones. Ample and fine on the palate, this wine unfolds with roundness and smoothness, balanced by persistent citrus aromas, led by lemon and grapefruit. Serve with shellfish, followed by sea bass". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019)
